I would like to share my design process of how the logo for  UA International is created.

My website won second prize in the personal websites category in UAE Web awards 2009 presented by Pan Arab Web Awards Academy. The ceremony was held at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai on 5th December 2009.

Fireshot - An extension for Firefox and IE to Take Screen Shots

It is always a hectic job to take screenshot of a entire webpage when it is longer than the browser window. I found an extension for Internet Explorer called FireShot from the internet.

This plugin provides a set of editing and annotation tools, which let users quickly modify captures and insert text and graphical annotations. Such functionality will be especially useful for web designers, testers and content reviewers.

Screenshots can be saved to disk (PNG, GIF, JPEG, BMP), printed , copied to clipboard, e-mailed and sent to external editor for further processing.

What is represented in a Carrefour logo?

While I was standing in front of a carrefour supermarket during my first few days in Dubai, I looked in to their logo and found out how they might have come up with this design.

Do you know what is there in carrefour logo? Eventhough I have asked this question to many people, only few could give the right answer.

Design Thieves Copied My Design

Lot of people copied my website design just like that. It is very sad to see our own design being used by others without any inputs from their side. We can have inspirations from others. But, not just copy & paste....

My website's version 3 launches

Did a little modifications to the version 2. I tried to make my tagline "addicted to creativity" more prominent. Added my blog to the website.

I always had passion to green color. So, I thought of implementing it in my website too. My room is also painted in green color. :)
